Chapter 18

Brad had learned finally he would stay with the Rangers in New York for at least one more year. There was a new coach hired so that hopefully would help Brad get his game back. But Brad was still not his super cheery self lately because he kept thinking about his crappy last season. His bad attitude was making his home life kinda rough too. Carrie could tell he was not totally happy with everything and that made her upset too. She was trying to think of things to make Brad happy but nothing worked. Finally Carrie had been pushed to her limits and made a decision.

"Why the fuck are you packing?" Brad practically yelled.
"Because you are acting like a depressed pissed off spoiled brat. I have tried and tired to do things to make you smile and nothing works. You just sit and mope around and complain. I do not know what else to do. And I do not want Brooklyn around you either." Carrie stated and continued to pack. Then Brad grabbed Carrie's arm and turned her around to face him and Carrie struggled but Brad was too strong. He looked at her and leaned in and kissed Carrie deeply. After the kiss Carrie looked up at Brad confused and he let her go.

"You think kissing me is gonna make me change my mind" Carrie said looking annoyed and walked back to her suitcase and continued packing.
"Yes I do think it will change your mind. Please do not leave me now. I know I have been a horrible person lately and I feel like I am disappointing you and that hurts me more than anything. Carrie, I need you and yes you have tried to help me and I just pushed you away and I am so sorry. Forgive me and let us work this out. Will you help me?" Brad asked walking over to Carrie and taking her hand in his and kissing her wrist which he knew got Carrie every time he did it.
Carrie looked up at Brad and nodded, "I forgive you but you better get your act in gear for all our sakes."
"I promise sweetheart. I love you so much, Carrie" Brad said and kissed Carrie again.


A few days later Brad was working out at the Rangers practice facility with a few of his teammates who were still in New York. Brad was concentrating hard on his workouts and thinking of a way to make up with Carrie. He knew she was working hard on the wedding plans which was great but they needed a trip away without thinking about wedding plans, hockey, family and life. Brad was knocked out of his thoughts when a teammate walked by and slapped him on the back.

"Hey Richie, how's it going?" asked Michael Del Zotto as he walked over to the stationary bike next to Brad.
"Oh hey DZ. Nothing much just thinking" Brad said as he looked at Michael.
"You seemed really into your zone which is good. Everything cool dude?"
"Yeah its cool. Just thinking of a good place to get away with my fiancee" Brad said thoughtfully.
"Well good luck with that and I am sure you will figure it out. Just make sure you spend lots of money on her" DZ joked and then walked away.
Brad just shook his head and went back to what he was doing.


Carrie was playing with Brooklyn in the living room when Brad got home. He walked in and saw them having fun and laughing. Brooklyn was just now sitting up on her own which was nice.

"What are you two up to today?" Brad asked.
"Just playing with her stuffed animals. She is just having fun throwing them and I get them. Oh the entertainment of a child" Carrie joked and Brad smiled.


That evening Brad was in bed looking up ideas for a romantic trip for two when Carrie finally joined Brad under the covers.

"What are you doing hotstuff?" Carrie asked snuggling onto Brad's strong chest.
Brad pulled Carrie closer and kissed her temple and then said, "I am thinking about taking you away for a few days of rest and romance."
"Now I am liking what you are saying. Rest and Relaxation would be wonderful. Getting away from everything with you would be fun." Carrie said sweetly.
"You forgot the romance part and that is what I am liking a lot too" Brad joked and Carrie giggled.
"Yes romance is a wonderful thing too not that we can not be romantic here too" Carrie said moving to look up at Brad and pull his face to hers to kiss him.
Brad took that opportunity to move the Ipad on the floor and then decided to romance his gorgeous fiancee that night.
Carrie enjoyed the closeness with Brad that night.

Brad took control and slowly seduced Carrie. He helped her out of her pajamas and he quickly shed his boxer shorts. Then he enjoyed his view of Carrie. She blushed and then pulled him to her. His hands moved all over her body and she touched him too. Carrie felt lightning bolts of electricity all over her body because Brad was kissing her and touching her like he loved her completely. Brad knew how to make Carrie feel amazing and loved. Finally Brad was kissing her abdomen and then he surprised her and kissed her between her legs and she lost it.

"Oh my god Brad" Carrie cried out and then was quiet because Brad moved back up her body and then entered her gently. They moved together in perfectly unison. Brad continued to move and he felt Carrie tighten against him and exploded with her orgasm. Carrie held onto Brad as he felt himself orgasm too and spill his seed into her womb. They collapsed together in the afterglow of their love making. Brad finally moved off of Carrie and they snuggled together for the night.

Chapter 17

on this story since I have some free time now and hopefully finish it before too long and then start something new.*





As Carrie had told Brad earlier she wanted to do one thing at a time so now that Brooklyn was at home, they
could start planning their wedding. Brad agreed and was excited to start that part of his life with Carrie.

One afternoon while Brooklyn was napping, Brad and Carrie were in their den looking at wedding magazines and at
online wedding sites for ideas for their upcoming nuptials.

"Brad, I think we should get married at my Aunt Susan's Hampton beach house. It would be private and it would
be on the beach which is always romantic" Carrie suggested.
"I like the idea of being on the beach and of course romantic is the only way to go for our special day" Brad smirked
leaning over to kiss Carrie.
Carrie smiled, "Then I will talk with Aunt Susan soon but I am sure she will be thrilled for us."
"Yeah I think just the fact that we are finally together after everything makes her happy" Brad said.

After a bit Brooklyn started to cry so that got Carrie up and went to get her up. Carrie was picking up Brooklyn
our of her crib when Brad walked into the nursery.

"Hey look daddy is here so he can take over and change you" Carrie said to Brooklyn as she laid her down
on the changing table.
"Thanks sweetheart for giving me the fun job" Brad sarcastically said as he took over changing his daughter.
"You are the greatest man ever baby and that is why I love you so much" Carrie said giving Brad a quick kiss.
"Love you too baby" Brad said.

They spent the afternoon at the pool and just relaxed. Carrie and Brad took turns with Brooklyn in the water.
Brooklyn liked being in the water and kicking her little legs to splash. Carrie could not help but smile because
this is all she ever wanted in her life.

When they got back home, they changed and then Carrie feed Brooklyn in her nursery. Carrie was sitting in her comfy
rocking chair as she feed her baby. Brad came to the door and watched the intimate moment between mother and child.
He smiled to himself and then walked away. Finally Brooklyn was finished and Carrie then put her down in her
crib for the night.

Carrie went to find Brad in the den checking his phone. Carrie went and sat down next to him.

"What's going on? Any news?" Carrie asked snuggling close to Brad. He put his phone down and pulled her
close to him, "Actually just saw that coach was fired but still nothing on my future yet."
"Hopefully soon you will know what's going on because it does effect me too."
"Believe me sweetheart I know and am not making any decisions without your consent." Brad said kissing Carrie's temple.
"Good because I will go anywhere with you no matter what. You and Brooklyn are my main priorities." Carrie said smiling.

Sorry its been forever

Yes I know I have not updated this story in FOREVER. And I hopefully will figure something out when I am on
summer break and have more free time. This sucks because I totally enjoyed working on this story.
Maybe I can get some inspiration again but its hard when you have writers block. LOL
OK if anyone still wants to read this story please let me know if not I am not sure what to say.

Chapter 16

Finally Brooklyn was home after a couple of months of being in the hospital. Carrie and Brad were happy their daughter was home and luckily Brad had finally finished the nursery.

Carrie was walking out of the nursery after putting Brooklyn down in her crib. She held the baby monitor in her hand and went looking for Brad. He was sitting in the living room watching golf and Carrie went and sat down next to him on the sofa. He casually put his arm around Carrie so she snuggled into his chest.

"You know I totally have no interest in golf" Carrie said looking at the screen.
"Drat because I was planning on becoming a professional golfer because this hockey thing is not working out so I guess we have to break up now" Brad joked which earned him a punch by Carrie.
"Dude, I guess we have to break up and Brooklyn is coming with me" Carrie said sitting up and smirking at Brad.
"Is that right? I think you will have a custody fight on your hand because she is my child too" Brad said raising his eyebrows.
"A fight huh? Then bring it on Mr Goon" Carrie laughed.

Brad leaned in and Carrie thought he was going to kiss her but he pressed his forehead against hers and winked, "Mr Goon" and then they laughed.

Brad was in bed reading and he looked up as Carrie emerged from the bathroom.

"Wow I likie what I see" Brad said dropping his book on the floor and patting the empty side of the bed.
Carrie walked over to the bed and climbed in but before she could get comfortable, Brad grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down and then moved above her.

"Dude, is this your way of seducing me?" Carrie said sarcastically.
"Yes now get naked so we can just have sex" Brad joked and leaned in and started nibbling on Carrie's earlobe.

Carrie giggled and instead of Brad pretending to be a cave man he actually seduce Carrie gently and sweetly. They slowly undressed each other and there was lots of kissing.

Brad was touching Carrie and he knew exactly how to make her scream his name all night long. Carrie was holding onto Brad's strong shoulders tightly. Brad touched Carrie all over and then kissed her body everywhere. Brad was kissing her stomach and then moved back up and kissed her on her lips and then let his fingers stroke her most sensitive spot until she was very wet for him. He entered her gently and they moved together in perfect unison until they both climaxed together.

Brad finally moved off of Carrie and they cuddled together in bed and fell asleep in each others arms all night long.

Chapter 15

Several weeks had gone by and Brooklyn was growing stronger but was still having to stay at the hospital. Carrie and Brad were constantly at the hospital visiting Brooklyn and the nurses were not complaining because Brad was cute. Carrie has to laugh at the nurses falling all over themselves at Brad when he walked by or said hey to them. He was really nice and signed autographs and took pictures with them.

"You have tons of fans here" Carrie giggled one afternoon as they past the nurse's station as the nurses smiled and waved.
Brad looked and smiled, blushed, and nodded and then took Carrie's hand in his as they continued down the hallway to the NICU unit.
"You're embarrassed Mr Richards" Carrie smirked.
"Yeah I am" Brad said turning more red with embarrassment.

They got to the NICU and headed in to visit with Brooklyn. Carrie sat in a rocking chair and the nurse brought Brooklyn over because Brooklyn was able to be out of her incubator for just a short time.

Carrie was holding Brooklyn and it was so amazing and made her happy because her baby was in her arms.

"She is getting bigger" Carrie exclaimed with a huge smile and looked at Brad. Brad smiled back, "Yes she is and hopefully soon we will have her home in the nursery".
"Oh Brad we gotta finish the nursery" Carrie said slightly freaking out.
"It will be done relax sweetheart. I promise" Brad said leaning over to give Carrie a quick kiss.

Carrie and Brad were home that evening chilling watching a movie. Carrie was leaning on Brad's chest and snuggling. It was fun to be close like this and just being alone.

"Hey Brad, I am really happy now"
"Oh yeah"
"Yes because I know Brooklyn is going to be home soon and I will finally get to be a mom. Everything is perfect now".
"Yeah things are definitely great now" Brad said and kissed the top of Carrie's head.

Carrie moved and leaned into Brad and kissed him deeply on the lips. Brad smirked and kissed her passionately back. It turned into a fun make out session for Brad and Carrie on their sofa. The movie was ignored and that was fine.

Chapter 14

Carrie was finally released from the hospital but had to leave her daughter in the NICU. Carrie was getting pushed by the nursery and she said, "Stop and I wanna see my little girl before I go".

The nurse stopped and helped Carrie out of the wheelchair. Brad took Carrie's hand and walked with her over to the window to look at their daughter.

Carrie looked at Brooklyn in her special bassinet and hook up to some machines and it made her sad.

"She is so little" Carrie said biting her lip as she looked at Brad.
"Yes she is but remember she is a Richards" Brad said and took Carrie's face in his hands and leaned down and kissed her deeply.

Brad pulled back and looked at Carrie and they smiled at each other and then he helped her back into her wheelchair. The nurse pushed her down to the car and then Brad helped Carrie into the car. They headed home and Carrie looked out her window thinking about her baby.

When they got home Carrie walked into the condo and went over to the sofa and sat down. She put her hands on her abdomen and let the tears fall. Brad sat down next to her and pulled her into a hug and held her close. Brad rubbed her back and just whispered how much he loved her and everything would be fine.

That night Carrie and Brad were laying in bed snuggled together. Carrie was laying on Brad's chest and thinking about their daughter.

"Brad, you know how scared I am about losing Brooklyn right?"
"Yes baby, I know its hard for you after losing two babies before but Brooklyn is stronger and I feel in my heart she will be home very soon" Brad explained.
"I can't lose another baby especially our baby" Carrie said smiling up at Brad.
Brad leaned down and kissed Carrie deeply and then they feel asleep in each others arms.

The next morning Carrie woke up and untangled herself from Brad's arms. She walked quietly into the bathroom.

Brad moved to pulled Carrie close and realized she was not in bed next to him.

"Sweetheart, where are you?"

Carrie came out of the bathroom and Brad patted the spot next to him on the bed. Carrie giggled and climbed back into bed and snuggled against Brad. They started kissing and making out and then cuddled together.

Carrie pulled back and said, "We need to go and see Brooklyn this morning". Brad kissed Carrie one more time and then they got ready to go to the hospital.

At the hospital Carrie and Brad spent time talking to Brooklyn. The doctor had said talking to their baby was good for her and would help her getting better quicker. That made Brad and Carrie hope that Brooklyn would be home soon.

Chapter 13

Carrie was in her hospital room and the nurses were prepping her for labor. Brad was a nervous wreak and not sure what to do so he sat off to the side and waited until he could hold Carrie's hand. Finally Carrie reached out for Brad's hand and he walked over and held her hand.

"Oh god Brad this is freaking out" Carrie said flipping out.
"It is going to be fine. Just relax" Brad said gently pushing her hair off her face and then giving her a quick kiss on the forehead.
"I...can....not...relax Brad! I have a baby inside of me and it wants OUT! UGH Oh God" Carrie stuttered.

Brad gave Carrie some ice chips to suck and he caressed her hand to try and relax her.

Carrie was slowly starting to calm down because Brad seemed to have that affect on her and that he was caressing her hand was wonderful. He always knew how to calm her down by either holding her hand or giving her a kiss.

The doctor walked in and asked, "How's the patient?"
"I am doing better" Carrie said smiling at Brad, who smiled back at Carrie.
"Good then let's have a baby" the doctor said.

Several hours later Brad and Carrie were the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. They named her Brooklyn Grace Richards. Little Brooklyn was rushed off to the Neonatal Unit because she was born early. Carrie and Brad had a few moments with their new daughter and then had to watch as the nurses took her so the doctor could check Brooklyn out.

After Brooklyn was gone, Carrie took a deep breath and look up at Brad with tears in her eyes. Brad looked down at Carrie and kissed her.

"I can not say if everything will be perfect but Brooklyn is a Richards and we are strong" Brad said looking lovingly into his fiancee's eyes.
"I hope so because I need our baby daughter to survive after losing two other babies" Carrie said strongly.
"I know sweetheart and all you and I can do is pray for Brooklyn to be strong and survive".
"Bradley you always make me feel better and I love you so much" Carrie said smiling.
"I love you more Carrie" Brad said kissing Carrie again and held her as they prayed for their new baby girl and her survival.
